It is the fourth main installment in the Grand Theft Auto series and the sixth overall, following 2001’s Grand Theft Auto III. GTA Vice City is an action-adventure video game released in 2002 by Rockstar North and Rockstar Games. After Tommy Vercetti arrives in Vice City, you, the player, will assume his role. Tommy is obliged to find the perpetrators of the attack, with the help of lawyer Ken Rosenberg, and eventually seize control of the city. Unfortunately, just as the deal was about to be completed, gunmen storm the meeting and kill several other guys, while Tommy flees with the narcotics and the money supplied by Forelli.
The game is set in 1986, when player character and protagonist Tommy Vercetti is freed from jail and sent to Vice City by Sonny Forelli, the head of the Forelli Mafia family in Liberty City, to set up a narcotics trade.
